Reflections on a winter tomato

I’ve been impatiently waiting for this small slice of summer for weeks now. I noticed its green, spherical form sometime in January. Growing winter tomatoes is not a quick process.

This is my first time growing tomatoes indoors — except for seed starting transplants to put outside.
